h23 JE Pistons

I bought an h23 motor from a friend and its been laying around my garage for a while. I am planning on taking it to a shop to get it worked on. Nothing is wrong with it but I wanted to add some JE Pistons but I don't know what else I would need other than that. I don't know much about pistons, rods etc. etc. Any info would really help. Oh and I in a budget of about $700. Thanks

My whole point of modifing my H23 is to be a little different from the rest of the crowd. Thanks for the offer though.

I kno u want info but with a budget of 700, the pistons alone are gonna cost u 300-500. If u want some simple, easy power, get nitrous. It gonna cost u a lot to rebuild ur engine.

Lol I know about being diffrent. I LOVED my H23 bro. It was mean. She was strong. Pulled harder then my current H22 project EVER did in the bottom-mid. I wanted to be diffrent like you. Everyone was like ehh go vtec blah blah. F that. If I didnt accidently hit a puddle and Hydrolock that young, strong running H23, I would still have her today. There plenty of H23's out there boosted hitting 500+ whp which is nice. Stay diffrent bro. The H23 is a great motor.... Just save a little more. Do it right. Dont rush N20 yet and save up to build the block right. It will cost you about 2K thats it to fully build it. Thats from a rep shop in Seattle.

I will keep being patient and see how much overtime I can pull at work so I can get things running ASAP. As for the N2O, my friend gave me his but worry about the engine being old and all. (140k) I had one more question. What is a three angle valve job? Thanks for all the info.

I meant nitrous is quick hp. Personally, I dont use nitrous and with high mileage engines (I have 130k) I would rather rebuild the engine too.
