I have an Honda Civic coupe '93, with the check light on. It takes me 2 codes: code 6 (coolant sensor) code 9 (Cylinder sensor). I need to know where is ubicated this sensors on the motor. If anyone knows it please let me know. And if anyone have pictures of the sensors, send me by mail [email protected].

Coolent sensor is on the rear of the block beside the oil filter. There are 2 wires coming out of it.

The Cylinder sensor is inside the distributor, the little black thing with the magnet/pickup on it.

actually, if he has a 93 which would be obd1, then the sensor you're talking about (which btw is the fanswitch and not the coolant temp switch) woudln't be on the back of the block it would be on the thermostat housing and it has a brown plug with 2 prongs.

the coolant temperature sensor is located underneath the distributor on the head.
