Nissan 300ZX soft top version..

I've just picked this kit up, and I didn't even know Tamiya released this version of the 300ZX.

It's in perfect order, no parts missing still in there bags, no parts broken and the decals are perfect. Looked around on ebay, not one for sale. This can't be a rare kit, as I was going to start building it.

I was going to start a BMW M3, but my dog stepped on the box, and crushed some parts.. Doh..!! And I've got a Tamiya Merc DTM car in progress, but I saw this today and brought it. Thought I would look for some details on the kit, can't find a lot about it.

Anyone know much about it.. Can't be that rare..

Ah... Just find this one -

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...Name=WDVW&rd=1

No bids yet, from Hong Kong. By the time you get postage etc, it would be around £12.. At a guess..

I just paid £11.99 for it so it can't be that rare, so it's being built..!!

I didn't think it was that rare. Just oop. Fujimi recently had their version rereleased. So how is the tamiya? Most of the same parts from the coupe version?

I've also got the coupe version. I've just been having a look at the parts, and the body isn't the same, and the interior tub is shorter. Also has a clear soft top. Other then this, just the same as the coupe. I can buy the coupe for £9.99.. Didn't think it was rare, just wanted to see if I should treat it with care, but seeing as most of the parts are from another kit, that is easy to obtain, if I make a mistake and need a spare, as long as it's not the body or interior tub, I'll be fine..

i also have a Tamiya 24120 Nissan 300ZX Convertible that i bought when it originally came out

most of the parts were from the standard Tamiya 24087 Nissan 300ZX with 2 new/different additions - namely bodyshell and the clear parts(for windows and roof)

heres a link to my website for pics
