monte carlo brake lights

Hi,

I have the same problem with my 95 montecarlo,
the turn signal works, flashers work, but no brake lights, or intermitten brake lights

try lifting up a little on the turn signal lever while applying the brakes, this should get the brake lights to come on,

to fix may need a new turn signal lever or maybe a elastic band to hold the lever up a little.

have a day, ..... Mike

I would replace the multi function switch. ( turn signal switch )
They are famous for failing, happens all the time.
Just did one three weeks ago.
Brake lights are tied into that same circuit and they all run through the signal switch.
