Re: help changing spark plugs pleeze

what year car?

and, you need a specific long spark plug socket to get them out, then you just unscrew them and take them out, the gap is like .09-.11 mm for intake, and .08-.10 mm for the exhaust, or something close to it... i would recommend getting a manual if you dont have one already, or...

http://www.redpepperracing.com/technical/96Civic-FSM

this site is a service manual for a 96-98 civic... it has all the details listed in there.

Re: help changing spark plugs pleeze

ihave a 98 ex
i think the gapping on it is .44
at the front register at the auto motive store there should be a metal circle a little bigger that a quarter, that is what you use to actually "gap" the plugs.

in all honesty in your case i would just go to Auto Zone. they should be able to tell you every thing or they can just doit for you.

i suppose i could just write a long description if you would like. but it would be boring...
good luck , it really is simple

OH! Yeah, you're right... I was thinking about adjusting the valve clearance gap... sorry about the misinformation...
