quick question regarding the lift points on civics..
its been botherin me for some time now..
on the manual regardin the side lift poins on a 2000 civic sdn my question is this.. is the lift piont the actual arrow? i.e. do you put the jack right underneathe that sed arrow? or the metal piece juttin out that the arrow is point at? also if your goint to be using jacks? where do you place those on? i'm jus tryin to keep this safe... thanks fella's.. oNe

Okay, on the sides there should be two pieces of metal (one on each side) sticking out, about 2 inches long and half an inch to an inch deep, that's where the jack stands go... and to jack it up, use the jack point at either the front or the back, depending on which end you need to work on. The points in the front and back are fairly easy to spot, so it shouldn't be too hard.

it looks like a metal rod that's bent in a u-shape under the front bumper... it stands out pretty well, right in the middle, more towards the driver's side.
