GS400 brakes

Any recommendations for replacement front brake pads for normal street use on a 2000 GS400?
I've typically used after-market brands versus the OEM. I have to believe their are some good alternatives that many of you are using. What works?
What doesn't work?

I've seen a few ads for braided brake lines. Would these be worth considering for street use?

And finally, without replacing the stock 17 wheels, do you have any rotor or caliper upgrade recommendations?

I'm not sure what material the stock ones have, but any ceramic pads should be very good. Tirerack shows that Akebono and Satisfied both make ceramic pads.

As for big brake kits I haven't found any that would fit, at least without a wheel spacer, (Stoptech).

As for rotors PowerSlot Cryo-Treated rotors look the best.

Haven't gotten to try anything on a '99 because brakes aren't worn out yet.
