Dynamat is what you want, as was said by honda_racing101. I prefer dynamat extreme, lighter than orignal, dampens better and the reflective aluminum paret acts as a heat barrier also. It also installs easier, it's just peel and stick (after cleaning the surface), no heat gun needed. It also holds well to upside down surfaces (roof, trunk lid, etc).

It will really make a difference. I have 6 bulk packs of extreme (216 sq. ft) in my car...okay, I went nuts and covered every sqaure inch, but with dynamat, a little will go a long way. You don't need that much.

Re: trunk rattling

i wouldnt quite reccomend dynamat. sure its good put i reccomend a paste or a spray on aplication for a trunk. just sticks alittle better.

Dynamat and Dynamat Extreme stick different. Origanal Dynamat needs a heat gun to apply, doesn't act as a heat barrier and also doesn't stick well upside down, etc...like a roof or trunk lid.

Dynamat Extreme not only dampens better and is lighter, is needs no heat gun, acts as a heat barrier and sticks very well to upside down surfaces like a trunk lid and roof. I have all dynamat extreme, 216 sq ft (6 bulk packs)...in my car, the roof, trunk, floor pan, all of it. It was easy to install...much easier than orignal, and has no problem sticking on roofs, lids, and other upside surfaces...as well as surfaces that get very hot. Once it's on, it's on. I agree though, betweeh orginal and a spray, a spray will work better...but Extreme will work great for all areas, including a trunk.

Re: trunk rattling

well the reason i said spray/ paste is becuase if its a hatchback or crx hatch yo ucan get into the little crevassis and if tis a 4dr hatch you can spray it on in all the little areas then sand it and paint it and no one will ever see your ugly sound barrier.
