89 Pontiac Safari wagon- wiper motor
The wipers on my 1989 Pontiac Safari (full-size - similar to Caprice) will not shut off with the switch. At first, it would occasionally do this, but now I have to disconnect them under the hood at the motor. I have heard this was a common problem on many General Motors cars. Could it be the motor under the hood, or the switch on the turn signal stalk? Any advice appreciated.

Re: 89 Pontiac Safari wagon- wiper motor
Your problem is the wiper/washer motor. They go for about $30 and take laee than an hour to install, try NAPA auto parts.
