Thumbs up Geeez..I can't believe this miledge...

I have an '02 1500 X-cab LT, 5.3L, K&N, Flowmaster, tow package. I recently cleaned and reoiled the filter, new gas filter and dumped the "Tornado" air tubulator (pure crap!!). This past weekend I towed our 20' travel trailer (abot 5800 lbs.) from Sacramento to Yosemite for a weekend of R&R. Going up I ran into one area on Hwy 120 with a serious climb with a lot of up and down stuff thru the Nor. Cal. Gold Country on Hwy 49. First the Fire Truck (what we call her) did a great job with the load in all directions. Going up I got just over 10 mpg. Crusing around Yosemite with more up and down and a lot of stopping, I got 19 mpg and coming home got about 12 mpg. I must say I'm really pleased with the beast. Damn I love that truck!!!!
