Paint questions

I use Humbrol paints in my airbrush ( paint jar is 14 ml ) and now I have question : How many jars I have to buy when I want paint 1/24 car body ? And how many coat you usually paint on car ?

2 jars i put 4-5 coats 1-2 clear

But when I put too much paint in my airbrush, is it ok when it stay there when one coat is dry ?

Noooo nooo noo. Pour the extra paint into a clean jar. Clean your airbrush thoroughly and then put on the next layer. If you are just doing coats every couple minutes then its alright. If its more than 5-10 I'd take it out and clean it thoroughly.
