When to change clutch
I'm not sure if it is a clutch problem, but my friend seems to think so, but he is integra so wasn't sure. But when I am in first gear the engine reves to like 5K RPM's and I have to let off the gas then press again for it to go forward, and it goes very slow at that, then when I switch gears it again reves way high before it catches and goes, I don't have the clutch pushed at all and it just wont' go until the RPM's comes back down. I have 82K miles on my GT so is it time to change the clutch or do you think its another problem I should look at? Thanks guys.

Re: When to change clutch
Okay after searching the fourm, guess I should have done that first, I'm pretty convinced that its a clutch problem. Does anyone have a good clutch for sell, not a stage 3, cause I won't go turbo till after I am out of law school. But stage 1 or 2 will do great, if you have a used one.

Re: When to change clutch
yup sounds like a clutch problem. a SPEC stage 1 or 2 would be good for you.

Re: When to change clutch
yeah, question, I know changing clutchs are always a pain in the ass, but are they even more so, or less with an eclipse? Its going to be 400 bucks labor so if I can do it myself in a day then I'd rather save the 400.

Re: When to change clutch
its more of a pain in the ass. ive heard of guys that done plenty of engine swaps. but when they went to install a clutch on the 3G, they said they would NEVER do it again.
