2001 Tranny shifts hard any opion helps

Heres the situation, i just traded in my last love, a 99 to upgrade to the next gen. She has 67k oin her with the v-6. Picked her up on a whim for a 10.9. She shifts hard from 2nd-3rd gear at 3k+rpm and 3rd to 4th if i get on her. This signs of a failing tranny? this common with the 2001 v-6? should i give it back to the dealer i bought it from last thursday? any help would be appreciated

I have the 3.5 v6 and the transmission shifts extremely smooth at those speeds. Hard shifting is definitely an indication of some type of problem.

hard shift

I have an 01 3.5. also on ocaision have a hard shifting issue. I took it to my mechanic and his opinion was a faulty sensor on the trans. I disconneted the battery and reset the systems. It stopped shifting hard. A few days later again it did the same. I let it sit overnight and it went away(heating cause?)

I changed the trans fluid and filter and it has been shifting nicely. no problems.

I have been having the same problems with my '01 with the hard shift. However, I've had the front motor mount replaced and a sensor replaced but nothing has helped. I have been codes for 2 years about the Input/Turbine Speed sensor. don't know what to do....
