Will not start. Tricky problem

Alright this is a good one. 1995 T-bird 3.8L. When I turn the key all gauges an radio turn on and I have full power (power windows and locks). When I turn the key to start, everything cuts out completely or goes to a real low power (power windows go up real slow). No cranking at all everything electrical goes out.

a couple of months back I was having a problem starting the car it would just crank and crank but would not start. I started having the same problem when I turned the key the power would cut out.

Took it to a dealership and the problem turned out to be the sator in the distributer. Car started every time and no more electrical problems.

New battery and cable ends, new control module.

Any ideas?

If all your connections to the battery and the starter are known to be good (using an ohmmeter) then the most likely problems are either a bad starter or battery.
