Exclamation 95 T Bird won't shut off

Hey,

I have a 95 Bird that will not shut off. I turn the key back and remove key and the car still runs. I have to take off the points to the spark plugs to get the thing to turn off.

Also, the thing that you put the key in spins...round and round.

What the heck is wrong? Anyone else had this problem.

HELP!

Re: 95 T Bird won't shut off

you've probably already fixed the car but that happened to my car last year and what it ended up being was the acctuator rod(spelling might be off). its either that or a computer issue but it sounds the same as the problem i had. to shut it off you can pull the fuel pump fuse(that's your best bet) or just take off the battery cables.
