The alternator fuse is blown, I think, but seemingly fused into place. It won't budge. How do i get it out without breaking anything.
The brake, charge, lights, dummy lights are all on too. All of the lights work, and the brake isn't on, and we bought a new battery. While driving, all of a sudden the radio, and all of the dash lights stop working, and then the car tries to die if you don't keep it revving. Help!!!! Hello. Not sure if you know, but I had the same problem once on my 88 camry and I thought it was fused too.
The black alternator fuse is not like the other fuses near the positive terminal of the battery. They have side terminals which extend downwards and are held in place by screws or bolts i believe. You cannot just pop it off without first taking care of these. |
