93 probe ICM fix

I have already replaced dist. in the car due to bad ICM. It stopped running again and I think it is same problem. I read about a fix that uses chevy ICM that you wire in to system (the current is inside dist and can't be replaced by itself). If anyone has info (or direct link on this issue please help.

Bill,

I believe this is what you are looking for an MSD SCI kit.

Here is a link to a bunch of kits at www.probeaddiction.com

ICM fix on probe?

Unfortuately this is not what I was looking for. Venom3230 had mentioned a fix that uses a $14 GM ICM that replaces the original one mounted inside distributor. I have not been able to reach venom3230 to get details of this and the general link that he provided didn't seem to get me the info I needed. I tried searching once on the page his link directed me to, but didn't have any luck. thanks for trying though.
