Removing Dry Polish

Is there anyone out there that knows a trick or two for removing dry polishing compound? I picked up a car a few weeks ago there appears to be some dry polish in some of the vents where its really hard to reach. I was hoping for something that will dissolve it.

Thanks,

Mike
