95 Blazer Seat

My drivers side seat won't adjust in any direction. I know that the fuse is good, can you tell me how I would gain access to the motor for that? Or could it be another problem?

Re: 95 Blazer Seat

The seat wiring under is a common fault in these vehicles. I would lift up the carpet and see if any wire has been stripped or mangled with in the foot area. Mine actually got corroded from salty winters too. It would save you 100 bucks at the dealer.

I had this same problem, mine was the wiring that ran to the seat motor under the carpet too. When I lifted the carpet and inspected the wire, it was green and it crumbled in my hand. The wire actually ran in a groove in the floor which from the looks of it, kept the wire in a puddle of water corroding it. I just spliced in a new wire and was done in 5 minutes. The wire was only bad where it had laid in that groove. Good luck.

Thanks so much for the feedback. It was the wires, and finally, after two years, my seat is working. Thanks again.
