Montana SV6 - Dashboard instrument panel control (IPC) malfunctioning

I bought a 2005 Montana SV6 Extended Wheelbase last May, and I have been having troubles with it since Day 1 (literally). The top 2 problems are the whistling noise (see my comment under that topic) and the malfunctioning dashboard/instrument panel control (IPC).

On Day 1, the IPC went offline 3 times -- while the vehicle is in motion. I brought this in for repair, and the dealership "fixed" the problem. The problem did not occur again until last week. The problem is that it cannot be duplicated easily, as it appears to occur at random. There is no obvious factor that triggers the problem. I find that pressing the power door lock control 2 to 3 times (to unlock/lock the door) will make the the IPC go back online.
