And then both of you guys w/ you sewing maching powered cars get passed by a moped w/ a 5hp Engine and he goes on to put 5 car lengths on you. Racing an EX vs a DX is like a 10 speed bike vs a golden retriever.

Yeah, its illegal to not have a front plate here in texas. I could take it off and wait to see how long it takes to get pulled over. Also I dont want to put in the grill because I have a green neon that lights it all up at night. Thanks for the compliment.

Thumbs up Nice ride ya got there!

Yes, you need to address the side moldings!
I don't mind the chrome rims much since everyone has their own tastes of style...

So... Any significant modifications!?

Well...

Why would I want to shave off my side moldings?? That is what keeps my car from getting dented from other car doors right? I much rather get them painted. I can do that my self, just one problem. I cant find my paint. Dealrship said they dicontinued that color plus it wouldnt match because the other paint job is 7 yr's old. Is that right?? If someone knows where I can get that paint will you let me Know. Next, I like the grill and do like the rims. I would get new ones but i dont have another $1000 to spend on new ones. Want to buy mine for a $1000. Thanx for the comments so far. Keep them coming. :sun:

I have a K&N intake
Chikara Headers
And I'm working on an exuast (any suggestions)
I have a Awia MP3 head unit
6.5" Pioneer 3-ways All around
2 MTX Blue Thunder 10''
Punch 500 2 channel
The tires are Michelin X-1's ( I reccomend these tires to anyone, they get great traction)

If it was a show car, I'd say shave the side mouldings (and the door handles), but as a daily driver, there are so many assholes out there that will just open thier door into yours in a parking lot or something.

Yeah, people definitely have no respect for other people's cars in parking lots and shit. I would keep the modings and paint them.

I should say that I ran my Saturn in Texas for years without a front plate without a peep out of the cops other than a polite verbal warning when I was pulled over for legitimate speeding by a State Trooper. The same goes for my dad and his poor old beat-up Volvo 850 (I pity his car - he bought it new and has done all of the beating.)

Then again, I'm a white guy, I don't look young, the car was otherwise stock, and I live in Austin, where the Cops generally don't have burrs buried anywhere unmentionable.

Cool hehehehe

Yeah I know what you mean. I took ya'lls advise and i took the lisence plate off. I now am moving to get the moldings painted. Should I take the mud flap things off too?? Another question, will a custom 2.25'' pipe from the catback to the muffler make my car sound different. The reason I might think so is because of no resonator. I am probaly wrong. Would this increase HP or anything. And about the sound, would it be a smooth sound or just a regular sounding exaust???
Thanx for the time. :frog:

Yeah, it will provide a small HP increase, unless you already have cat back system. And the sound is gonna bit a bit louder without the resonator. you might notice yourself setting of car alarms in parking lots sometimes.
