On vacation need help!!! 2000 Trooper....
I need help with the Power/Winter buttons. The power light will not go out. Is there anything I can do? I am not very mech. inclined but I hate to take it to a dealer. Any help is greatly apprec. Don

The button is probably shorted out. This happens often as they are targets for being swamped by coffee, soda, etc.. You wont hurt a thing by having it in "power" mode for awhile. You could turn it off for now by pulling & unplugging the switch. I wouldn't worry about it until you have the time and resources to address the situation. You may be able to clean the swich once it's pulled.
