91 Wont start
Hey guys
I have a Camry DX from 91, and its been sitting in my driveway for the last 2 years. She wont start, we get spark, but it keeps backfiring through the intakeand I dont know where to start. BTW: Its a 4 cylinder automatic. |

Sounds like your valve timing is off. Check the indexing of the timing belt. It may be off by one or two teeth.

I can't tell much by that. I would only be able to tell by looking at the indexing marks on the pulleys.

Sorry, I don't have that engine here to compare it with. I don't know how much ignition timing will tell you about valve timing anyway.
