New Car Help

Ok so lemme give you some info... Buddy has ~25k to spend on a car... My dad, him, and I all have some pretty good knowledge on cars and motors and we want to mod up a super nice powerful yet quick car for him. I was thinking either a 91-96 Supra TT, or a 350ZX either way we're going to do the engine modding and such... I really want some suggestions on what other (cheaper) cars might be out there that could get up in the 600 bhp area, and not cost more than 25k. Lemme know Thanks. AIM = njsdca (if you'd rather just IM).

Re: New Car Help

a 350zx???....i would go with the supra..."350zx's" are more common than supras and that would set you apart from the pack IMO....there aren't too many cars capable of getting 600hp without pretty extensive work to the engine....supras respond to mods well and would be your best chance to get that much hp...

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

Re: New Car Help

go with a mustang! easy as pie to mod, and can easily get into that 600 hp range........build up a SN95, 5.0 V8, find one for 5-7 k, and have the rest for mods! ahh around 19k in mods

Re: New Car Help

you could get an LS1....those things are capable of get 600hp...but you probably won't be able to find one as cheap as a 5.0....i hate to say it (being a camaro/corvette lover )..but the mustang would be the best choice in my opinion...if you get one of the early 90s stangs with that low curb weight you won't need much horsepower to kick ass....

If I had a dollar for every time one of these threads came up...I wouldn't have to go to work in an hour.
