Re: Turbo (twin set up)
can you hide them? no...have you looked at the engine bay? you cant hide one turbo, much less two.
will you blow you engine? depends on how much boost you are going to run and what internals you are going to rebuild. will it work? with enough money. you will need to get two relatively small turbos. i dont know how big the Garrett GT turbo is. a company called RPW( http://www.rpw.com.au/ ) in Australia has designed a twin-turbo kit for the 6G72 engine(the GT engine). i do not know if its being sold yet. i believe its still in the testing phase. you could contact them. |

simple? i would disagree. it has taken RPW atleast 2 years to get a twin-turbo system to work with the 6G72 engine |

Re: Turbo (twin set up)
first off, there are many problems with the placement, clearance of a turbo for the 6 cylinder. I don't think twins could fit, or at least not without spending ALOT of money. Just fyi, if you get twins, you are going to have to change out your entire ecu cause you are going to have to use twin maf sensors for each turbo. then you'll have to get a different intake manifold, another throtle body. . . the list goes on. So far i've found that most people are using a supercharger setup from rippmods.com. i have one myself. i was a little disappointed in the price and a few mods i had to do to my car for fitment, but am pretty happy in general with it. just the basic will put you around 250-300 whp and by adding a little extra will take you over 300 up to where ever you want to go with more moding.
