How do you remove rear door handle 96 SL2?

I need to replace the rear door glass on a 96 SL2. I have the outer door panel loose but can't figure out how to remove the door handle. The plastic rivits don't have center pins like earlier cars. I got one rivit out from the bottom of the handle but there are 2 more from the sides. Do you just drill them out and then replace them with new ones?

Never mind, I figured it out. The side pins are part of the black plastic parts that the handle mounts to. After you remove the single pin from the bottom of the handle, you just slide the handle towards the front of the car, off of those molded pins. They aren't removable. Good thing I didn't try to drill them out!
