Done

I am one to get easily discouraged. After installing the jon o shift POS, it broke the ball that goes into the shift cable. It will not fit back in without comming right out. Im out of money now. This is my only car. Im so frustrated that im selling my mr2 and just getting some luxary car. I already see the problems that will come with aftermarket shit. Its been fun.

Don't be so easily discouraged. Perhaps you got a faulty part, or maybe that shifter kit really is a POS... I wouldn't know, so i definitely won't make any assumptions about another person's work. What I do know is _many_ people have short shifters in their MR2s, including myself, and have had absolutely no problem. Then again, if you buy TRD you can trust it to be perfect.

You'll never be satisfied with a stock car for more than a few months, just let it be :P

Re: Done

Do you have a photo of what you are talking about?
The only ball on the shifter goes into the bottom of the plate, not connected to the cables.

Its the part that connects the shift cable to the shift lever. I just need the end part, toyota wants $222 for the whole thing, they wont just sell the end.

Re: Done

I think I have one or two OEM shifters laying around if you need a cheaper option.
