Be wary of someone who will give you a Diablo or Countach for your '83 Turbo! Something doesn't add up here........ no matter how sorted your car is an average condition Countach I believe costs at least twice as much ...........

Exactly. Gallardos, Murcis, Diablos and Countachs you can forget about it no matter the age/condition. BUT you could possibly find a good 20000$ Espada (very cool classic) to exchange with a very nice Esprit but the Lambo would be a 15 year older car than the Lotus... Me I would take the Espada anytime though

Re: Who wouldnt exchange their Lambo for a Lotus Esprit?

I have always loved Lotus Esprits and in the past, I have looked at purchasing one. But to be honest, I wouldn't even trade my replica for a Lotus. If I had a real Countach, there would be no chance at all. The "shock Value" alone with a Countach is worth more than ever owning a Lotus. There is no comparison....

Re: Who wouldnt exchange their Lambo for a Lotus Esprit?

Actually, let me change my above response. If I traded for a Lotus with a higher value, like a newer V8 turbo, I would consider.... but depending on the Lotus, I would probably trade, then sell it to buy my replica back and make a litttle extra cash.

Talking Fun toy

The Lotus is a fun little toy, but not the pavement stomping animal that the Lambo is.

They are not even comparable, really.

This is like comparing the BMW M3 with a Miata, no?
