zc turbo? or b16a2
Sup all. I got a 92civic dx with a zc single cam 1.6L. [130hp]
Wanna get some power goin into this. And well, i know enough to know that these pricey bolt-ons are useless. So turbo is the best way to get some power going. Should i get a turbo for this zc? Or got for a b16a2 and add a few mods? Cause turbo will cost me close to what a b16 would. Any suggestions?

It's all up to you. Will you be happy with 30 more hp (...if you mean the b16a2 '99-'00 Si engine, or 40hp if you mean the b16a SiRII engine)? Figure out how much you're really willing to spend, how much hp you're looking for in the near future, and how much hp you think you'll want later on.

If you do go the B16 route, I recomend you get a B16A3 which is OBD1 like your car. The A2 is OBD2. It will make it easier and cheaper.

Never heard of a b16a3, know where ican get one?
And as for more hp. Well, i know i wont be fully satisfied with a b16, but this lil zc is just killin me. The b16 is a lil bigger, lil stronger, and if i ever do get any bolt-ons, atleast itll give me maybe 5hp, and well w/ the zc i get what? 1hp+ on the zc, i got 2.5" exhaust, 3.5" exhaust tip (w/ silencer), intake, spark plugs (ngk), wires (ngk), i dont think there's difference at ALL. Pretty sure i'd feel SOMETHING if i had this on a b16. One more thing... What transmission's can i use w/ the b16, either then the lsd or the one it comes w/? And do you know of any places were i could get one cheap? Cause www.jdmcustoms.com sells engines pretty damn cheap w/ freeshipping and 1 year warranty. But seems like the tranny is like 1000$ ;/ (suckij) What kinda hp you guys runnin? And what would you recommend? Buy a turbo for my zc? or a b16a2 or a3. One more thing guys, what about h22's? I hear some ppl saying, they are great. Some ppl say... they are nothing but a heavy rock in your engine bay? Whats the story here? And also, they say h22 turbo no good, but yet i see h22 turbo everywhere w/ success no? tx for the help.

First off, I recomend your read this first.

I recomend totaljdm.com. BTW that company your looking at looks like they are selling crap. See if they have any reviwes on other sites.

yeah... i would go with the b16a3... not point in putting a new engine in your car if its not manditory... and if you werer to put a good cat back exahuast, high flow cat, header, cold air intake.. and the plugs and wires... i would guess you would probably have a 20hp gain... like i said being goood product though
