does anyone else find it ironic that the nation spent almost a month arguing about whether or not we should continue force feeding a woman who starved herself into a vegetative state?

anyways, yeah, never should have been news. people so easily stirred up and go on hunger strikes, citing their willingness to die for this "religious cause" ignoring overwhelming scientific data (sound oddly familiar? almost....taliban-esque?)

perhaps the major news comglomerants should start a media circus everytime a child dies of starvation in our streets. everytime some single mom with three kids collapses from exhaustion on her third shift of the day. how bout that huh?

Hey, excuse the question, but where the hell have you been? Terry Schiavo had a heart attack and was deprived of oxygen, which was the original cause of her drain bamage.

college. i got caught up in studying and partying and lost touch with the AF world. well, im back.

yes, terry schiavo had a heart attack, that was brought on by extremely low levels of potasium (and other necessary vitamins and minerals) on par with extreme bulemia. she also dropped something like 65 pounds in the three months between her highschool graduation and freshman year of college.

so, she decided that between her highschool and college years, shes get a fresh start, she'd lose weight, and get married. which she did. she also developed into a full blown bulemic, caused herself to develope a potasium imbalance, which caused her heart attack, and subsequent brain damage
