Re: Plug Change, What Plugs ?
No tricks........piece of cake. 6 - 8mm bolts on the front of the plenum, one 13mm under the throttle body, another 13mm at the rear of the plenum, and then disconnect the egr tube, speedo/cruise cables, a couple vacuum lines and viola. The plenum should lift right off revealing the spark plug wires..........

Re: Plug Change, What Plugs ?
'02 Touring 5spd-
At 40K I installed platinum plugs (I think Champions...???) and Magnecor (blue) wires. Factory plugs didn't look too bad, but I know the new ones will last a long time. Didn't notice a change in mileage (I've always gotten 24-27) or running. Intake removal is straightforward, no tricks. |
