2005 X-Type questions

Hi guys, I just bought a new 05 xtype sport and am new to this forum, you can see it here (if you are interested):

I have a couple of questions:

-What tint level do you think I should get?
-Do you know of a 12v cigarette adapter that will fit in the lighter space with the cover closed? or is there any way to tap into a 12v power line underneath the steering column for a external navigation unit?
