1996 grand caravan power steering pump

I have a leak and am told that the pump needs to be replace. Can anyone verify if 3.5 hours of labour would be required for this job?

Sounds about right to me. This is quite a complicated repair and because the steering needs to be bled along with the pump so 3.5 hours is not unusual for this repair.

Thanks very much for the verification. I have a good mechanic that I have been trusting, but this just sounded like a little too much time. It never hurts to double check.
