hey you great dudes, another questions about the LeMans,

the paint work is papaya orange, on some photos mainly the xpLM its really orange, but from the LM3, its really yellow, is it a different paint work or it reflects differently under sunlight.

and does any one know the paint code, i wouldn't mind modify my 1:12 mclaren to a LM spec..

Yes, the Papaya Orange looks different under different light. Also the camera has a lot to do with the color variations you are seeing. Put the two side by side and they will be an exact match I'm sure.

Sorry - can't help you there. I've seen several requests for it in the past that have gone unanswered. You might try some modeling forums - specifically ones where people build vintage race cars as the color was rather prominent on the older McLaren CanAm racers and I'm sure someone can help you out. There's even a modeling forum here on AF.com so you might check that out too.

The Audi TT 3.2L is available in Papaya Orange this year.





Paintscratch.com lists the color code as "LY2B/X3"
