I'm looking for the starter on a '94 Olds 88. Where's it located? Thanks.

It's on the side of the engine facing the radiator. To get to it you must remove the splash guard under the engine, good luck

Re: Where's the starter on 1994

Yea i replaced the starter on my car if i were you id buy the chilton or the haynes manual for the car it makes the job alot easier. What i did was jack the car up to get under there make sure its cool because its gunna hurt if you bump into anything. and be sure to shim it correctly they com in the package. after you figure out where its at and gett the splash guard off the job took me about 25-35 minutes. and i havent had a problem since. Once you put the starter on if it squeaks when you start it up dont leave it like that. Put shims in their very important you can destroy your flywheel like that.
