99 Z24 Cooling fan and A/C issues

Yesterday I felt the car was running warmer than normal, approaching the red. The fan is not kicking in when the temp is around 220-225 or when the a/c is on. Additionally, the compressor kicks in and out, I have had no a/c issues until now. I have to assume the two problems are connected. I have already replaced the relay with no change. I am getting ready to hardwire the fan to see if it is good. What other sensors should I be looking at and where are they located?
