hi well the get the black peice off its really too much to go thro but here it is. 1st u have to take everything outa the arm rest and pull the cover in the bottom off and take the screws out, pull the cup holder out and take the screws out then the whole armrest peice will move out of the way. 2nd take the two black screws out of the black trim around the shifter and pull the little ash tray thingy out and take that screw out the just pull that peice off. then remove the radio and look inside and up to were the bottom the the black trim around the ac knobs and everything is there are two screws there also remove these and then get a flat head and remove the rear defrost cruise and light dimmer switches. yes there are screws behind these too and then last but not least take out the two screws in front of the gauges in the top of the bezel and let the steering wheel all the way down and pull it off u may have to tug a little but it will come off. its a pain in the ass but u can always do what i did take it all off the put all the screws back except for the ones the the bezel around the gauges just the ones for the piece around the shifter and armrest so that u can still pull the ac bezel out ne time u want and now have to go thro all the trouble again. and word of advice if ur puttin gauge faces on beware of needles
don;t touch them too much and dont try to take them off u'll only screw the whole guage up and have to replace4 the whole thing and they aint cheap bout 250$ per guage. but hope this helps
