Removal of smog stuff??
i have a 74 nova with 350/350 and was wondering what i must do to take off all of the smog stuff? i know that i have an A.I.R pump a E.G.R pump but heard i wanna keep the pcv valve! anything will help! thank you!!

yes you need to keep the pcv valve, thats the only thing that keeps the crankcase from filling up with blowby from the cylinders, unless you set it up like an early 60's small block i would keep it, as for the other stuff, find a chevy truck that had the pullys and brakets for no emissions pumps and swap everything you need then if you want you can put plugs in the holes for the pump tubes in the manifolds or put a set of headers on it, just remeber if you live were they smog test and that stuffs not on there, even if you pas the sniffer they can impound your car and you have to pay them to put all that stuff back on, just a litte fyi
