Thanks!

It's come to my attention that some may confuse me with another user going by the name Coronado Gold....well we are 2 different people and I am only providing links to my own car.

It has taken me over 5 years to get it to the point it's at.

I've learned a LOT about fabrication, suspension, drivetrain, brakes, body, paint, and interior through the process so I look forward to being a useful resource in the near future.

Nice car... although it looks like a 70 with the way the headlights are. Exactly like a 70 GTO. You didn't swap out the nose / headlight bezels did you? or did you buy it that way?

Put up some interior pic's if you get a chance.

Re: Not a Camaro, but a first gen!

good job on the car... the paint scheme reminds me of something i may have seen on overhaulin'.
oddly enought I thought about doing almost that exact paint scheme on my car.

welcome to AF.

Re: Not a Camaro, but a first gen!

LOL

thanks for the comments, guys!

The car has not been on a dyno.....yet. According to desktop Dyno HP should be in the 550-575 range, but torque is closer to 620-640.

Not too bad for a weekend toy.

no reason not to show to us, the firbirds are our closest kin. And hp isnt everything (especially when you cant remember how much you have), theres certainly alot more skill in doing up a fully detailed, perfectly smooth bodied car than bolting on some performance parts and making more power. learn to respect those with different passions than yours.

that being said, damn hot firebird bro, glad you stopped by the forums.

Re: Not a Camaro, but a first gen!

Thanks guys! I agree the bird is the closest cousin! I always wanted a 69 Camaro, then happened across this 69 and the price was right for it's condition so I built it how I wanted it....

Thanks for all the props!
