2000 Terrible Torque Steer

I recently bought this car and when under acceleration the car pulls really bad to the right. All the steering linkage and suspension looks good. Anyone else ever experience this or have any ideas?

First of all, make sure you have equal tire pressure. And I assume you've driven the car enough to be certain this is happening over a variety of road surfaces.

Barring that, there are quite a few things that could be causing your problem: Worn/loose/broken suspension parts, tie rods, control arm bushings, and engine mounts. The wheels also could be severely out of alignment which may comound the problem.

If it were me, I would go check and even out the tire air pressure. Then if the car pulls even without heavy acceleration or the tires are showing uneven wear, I would go get an alignment (and possibly new tires beforehand if they are almost gone). If that fails, I would recommend getting a suspension inspection. Let us know what happens.
