1992 Jimmy Diagnostic codes

My 1992 Jimmy, 4 x 4 , 4dr, has had the ABS light on for about two weeks.
Then last night when I parked her, all of a sudden the idle started running very rough. It is fluctuating between 800-1000 rpm and wants to stall.

I put a code reader on it and it gave me 12, 45, 65, 67, 44, 41, 42, 51, 52. I have no idea where to start troubleshooting.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

44 and 45 are bad 02 sensor codes
I don't have the 65 and 67 listed
42 is a bad EST (ignition module)
51 is a bad prom or memcal in the ECM

First start by taking off your upper plenum and looking for washing. More than likely you are dumping raw fuel because of a CPI and/or nut kit leak.

Replace the ignition module under the cap, swap in a new cap and rotor while you're at it.

Check your fuel pressure at the shrader valve. It should be 56-60 at start, 61-65 at running. If it's not your fuel pump may be dying. (causing the code 44 lean condition)

Hi,

This is my first time working on this vehicle. As you suggested was trying to check in plenum for regulator. However, I could not get the damn top off. All the bolts have been removed but it wont budge.

I dont want to ding up the aluminum with a screw driver. Whats the preferred method to loosen it up?

Thanks

You have 9 bolts to remove, then grab it back by the hose that goes to the brake booster and pull straight up...it will seperate from the gasket
