The Last Everybody Loves Raymond

Who else thought the last episode was nothing special? For a second I thought that they were going to kill of Raymond, but they ended up not. After nine successful seasons, I expected some huge shocking finale, but it was just like any other show. Your thoughts??

Re: The Last Everybody Loves Raymond

I totally missed it , I fell asleep around 8 and didn't wake up until after 10:30 But I did read articles and reviews leading up to the finale and they pretty much all said the same thing. That the final episode was going to be nothing special, and that there was no big plans or plot twists, or cliffhangers, just a "normal" episode.

I take it you did not like the show.

I too was surprised it was so ho hum. The previous hour highlights were funnier.

I wasn't a fan of Raymond until about 2 years ago. I never watch the actual show time, I just watch the reruns on TBS and WB. Frank is just too damn funny.

They really should of had Raymond, Robert, Debra, and Amy have a foursome. Now that woulda been funny. Especially with Frank and Marie walkin in on it.

100% agreed, he's pretty much exactly like my Grandfather was.

Too bad they couldn't do a spin off of this show with just Frank and his wife. They could probably hold their own in a spinoff. Probably would be just as good if not better than some of the shows on the tube these past seasons.

Re: The Last Everybody Loves Raymond

Agreed - the title of that show is incorrect. Not everyone loves raymond.

Re: The Last Everybody Loves Raymond

Really, what's the flash with a whiny, emasculated wanna-be funny man, whose sole purpose and plotline is to be pumped by a dominating mother whose husband just bickers at her? Ayep, everybody loves raymond, at least those who who are emasculated.
