Question 2m4 with a v6?

hey, I have an '86 fiero 2m4, and the engine is shot. I was wondering, if I buy a fiero GT v6 engine, will it fit right in my 2m4, without too much trouble? Thanks-Mark

Define what you mean by "not too much trouble"?

It wont be a weekend job unless you have some experience in engine replacements. Since your car is an 86, wiring shouldn't be much of an issue.

well I mean without having to cut any frame or make my own mounts or anything. I have pulled the engine and changed the clutch, so as long as it pretty much bolts in, I think I can do it.

Re: 2m4 with a v6?

you need to drop engine trany and all under car and pick car up off engine also you may need to change trany, not sure if your trany from bill bolt up to v6 also computer will need to be changed, complete engine harness will need to be changed.
