Lowering '01 Z24 with Coilovers??
Hey, I've been thinking about lowering my 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24, but I'm not sure if I should use Coilovers or Lowering Springs. I've talked to some people and they have said Coilovers off eBay is the way to go. I was just wondering what you guys thought I should do, thanks.

Nope...if you are going to do it...do it right. Lowering springs and struts. A good setup will run about $700. If I were lowering my Cav i'd go with Eibach Pro Kit Springs, and KYB AGX struts. That setup will give you a 1.4" drop.

Re: Lowering '01 Z24 with Coilovers??
My car has the AGX/ Prokit combo... look at my sig. Ebay coilovers only break shit and will do more harm than anything. But 01cavy is right, a good setup is going to run you atleast $700

![]() This is the money shot for how the drop looks. If you want performance out of a drop go with the prokit, if you just want looks, go with whatever. 1.5" is the best height to be at where the a-arms are parrellel to the ground.
