it should fit. But question is, do you really have the money and time for it?

it will fit, but it would be a tight fit

it will cost quite a bit, there are alternate trannys that you could use if you dont feel like doing the mods to the mr2 tranny, alot more work

i will have the money for it soon, the engines ive been finding look reasonably priced, the thing thats going to take forever is finding either the manual Mr2 tranny, or the v6 camry tranny, and once i get all that im upgrading the stock turbo, which all means that this is just one big money pit, cause ill soon need to buy an upgraded clutch,(looking into the stage 2 performance clutches for mr2s and celicas) but once its all done my car will be much much faster, so i think its worth both the time and money

Re: engine swap

your looking at low 14's high 13's at best with the swap tho, and btw yes you can use your mr2 tranney he only things that need to be changed is take(or cut out) all the shift linkage from ur current 5sfe (or all trac) shift linkage and transferr it over to the mr2 tranny, no the mr2 e-153 tranny linkage wont work with ur car so itll need to be swapped over, and btw you can still use ur 5sfe tranney
