dont ya just love porsches?
i do, when they run anywho... but when something goes wrong.. man.. tis expensive.... motor overheated, it was the waterpump, needed new belts because of it.... almost broke one, which would have certainly meant a rebuild... however, when i went to get it smogged... it didnt pass, way too rich of A/F mix.... they did a compression check #1 105 psi #2 0 psi #3 110 psi # 4 105 psi well... ok, dead cylinder... this was done while the motor was hot... they reperformed the test when it was cold... #2 up to 105 psi..... humm... for now its sitting in the shop waiting for my decision on weather to pull the head and find out whats wrong or if im just going to buy a new motor (a 944 S2 motor has had my attention), since ive gotten very good information here before, i thought i would just see what everyone had to say about this very odd problem of mine before i finalised anything, afterall, whatever i do, is going to eat the last of my budget on this car for now.
