labor cost to replace dash vents? 2nd gear synchro?
ive got to do 5 things to my car to make it perfect. first, replace the radio antenna. i can but one for $30 and do it myself. second, fix the active exhaust. i think i just have to loosed up the cable so i can do that myself too. third, fix the active aero spoiler. tougher, but i think i can take it off myself and find whats wrong. this is where it gets tricky. i have to replace the dash vents. i found step by step guide online but its pretty involved. i might undertake it. i already have the vents. so just out of curiousity, how much would it be just for labor to have someone replace them? and finally the fifth one. my second gear synchro is going. i'll replace them all because it would be stupid not to. how much for labor and parts to replace 1-4 gear synchros? i know its going to be a lot.

Re: labor cost to replace dash vents? 2nd gear synchro?
You could get the synchros from www.kormextrans.com I believe young said he had his synchro(s) replaced for about $600, but it'll change slightly depending on where you live probably. And if you're brave and mechanically inclined, you could try doing it yourself too: http://www.vr4stealth.com/transaxle_syncro_replace.htm Good luck and post back on what happens. My second and third gear are almost gone too but I don't have money to replace 'em right now.
