need help maken more power from a jdm h22a

my friend recently purchased a 92 prelude with a h22 and a lsd trany. The car has I/H/E. he dynoed recently for 186 hp.

My question for yall is what should he do to make more power withought using nitrous or FI.

I was thinking posibly cams and a tune? would that be recomended?

what would you guys suggest to get more power to the wheels?

Cams would be good. Even if he went the least expensive way and got the Type S cams, he'd make a little more power out of it. Or even type s pistons, they'd bump up the compression a little and give him more power. Really depends on how much more power he's looking for and how much he's willing to spend.

Thumbs up

cams/tune is gunna be your next step for more power the cam is the heart of your motor so you should get the cam you want and build the motor around after that check out dh-racing.com. they build some nasty hondas and there heads and intake manifolds are some of the best out there. after cams i would definately check them out for a intake manifold and head port/polish. with that setup and some slicks expect to hit at least low 12's.

sorry to rain on your day but your not going to hit 12s with that setup in lude. maybe in hatch but not in a lude. however i do agree in that the next step is to build your head
