tranny vacuum leak
This week I was working on my damn car because I relocated the battery to the trunk and car starting giving problems. I just assumed it was the battery or starting components but didnt realize I put the damn battery right next to the fuel pump switch which cut off. Not realizing that until stripping starter, valve cover, fuel rail injector, rail, and regulator, switching fuel filter, and throttle body and changing all gaskets. Now everything os back but my 95 2.0 se auto will not switch into 2nd gear and cuts off after idling for approx 1 min. I was told to check my vacuum lines but I read the probe book on it and I have never heard of a vacuum line running to the tranny? Im checking in the morning and changing all rubber lines, someone please help asap!

Re: tranny vacuum leak
shouldn't of put the battery in the trunk in the first place, but it sound like your man computer is messed. Might look into getting a new 1.
