94 jeep stereo

I am looking to direct connect my mp3 player to my stereo. I would like to know if it even possible or if anyone has any advice before I go ripping the dash off.

not sure. But you could buy a new deck with MP3 player, My Pioneer only costs me about $190. 4600 series. Thats if you know how to burn MP3 CD's.

Cassette adapter if you have a cassette, or a radio transmitter if you don't. the radio transmitter you can get for about $30 I think. I've seen them at Walmart before. Here's one on Ebay:

Hope this helps!

I wouldn't go ripping into the dash. You'll probably get similar quality by using a casette adapter. I might try that first and see how it works.

That is the the best way to do it. I didnt think you would want to do it from the back of the dash. Oh well.

It's according to which Chrysler radio you have if you can connect outside audio sources directly to it or not. Some radio's have the rear connection meant for a CD changer others don't.

What did you end up doing? Have you done anything yet?

so what i ended up doing was ripping into the back of my dash to look at the back of my stereo. Unfortinatly there was no cd changer connect or anything to hook stuff up to. i ended up going with the fm transmitter, but didn't go high enough quallity and it doesn't produce the quality i would like. im still looking for ideas, cause i would like to connect to something to get the best quality.
